Last week Galina our neighbor turned 61 and we were
invited for some cake. The cake turned out to be a full on Ukrainian birthday
party with tons of good food, vodka, wine, music and dancing.

Exhibition with M.A.L.A
This Sunday is going to an exciting day with the
opening of the exhibition with our local artist group M.A.L.A. taking place in
El Galego, Jardim da República, Santarém at 4pm. There will be a good art, a Portuguese
coffee break and the presentation of
a poetry book from a secret author and we hope you can join us!!
A Path To Soundness
I’m so grateful to my masters and guides for reminding
me everyday that magic is real, that everything is possible. I’ve made this
tinkerbell fairy as a present to a very special friend and her little princess and
since Reiki was in its origin I share with you the five Reiki precepts based on
a phrase in the opening page of a book "Kenzen-no-genri" or "The Principal of Soundness" written by Dr. Suzuki Bizan.
"A Path To Soundness" reads:
Today only
Be not angry,
Be not fearful,

“The rhythm of Dornes” is a spontaneous shoot of a beautiful
mushroom found in the mountain by the lake, that came to life in this very
comic short movie, created by our talented couple M&M.

These are the first impressions of Portugal and Quinta das Praias from our
friends M&M. These loving couple works wonders as a team, with Marcelo as a
photographer and Marcela as an art director, filmmaker and producer. We promise
more art from them soon and a very warm thank you for these happy moments
shared together.

We've had visitors
again, this time we had the pleasure of receiving Marcelo & Marcela from
Barcelona (originally from Argentina). Between pizza parties we did some trips,
one of them to Dornes. Although being the only rainy day in two months it was a
good trip.
